About Me

I am a seasoned professional with over thirty years of experience in championing diversity and inclusion, particularly focusing on disability inclusion and intersectionality. Currently serving as the Senior Specialist/ SME in Diversity and Inclusion at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), I have been instrumental in moving the diversity needle beyond gender, leading initiatives that have significantly impacted the organization's culture. My work includes growing the Supplier Diversity program in collaboration with prestigious clients like CITI, DELTA Airlines, SHELL, AMEX, and CISCO, among others. I have also been actively involved in policy audits and formulation aligned with the laws of various countries, as well as creating and deploying learning programs to foster an inclusive people ecosystem. With a track record of managing multi-stakeholder collaborations and strategic engagements at national and global levels, including with organizations like UNDP, ILO, and CII, I am dedicated to driving positive change and building inclusive communities.

As the Global Lead for Disability and Inclusion at TCS since 2012, I've driven diversity and inclusion initiatives beyond gender, focusing on disability inclusion and intersectionality. Achievements include expanding the Supplier Diversity program with clients like CITI, DELTA Airlines, SHELL, AMEX, and CISCO, leading policy audits, designing inclusion frameworks, and creating learning programs. I've set up employee resource groups, managed collaborations, and engaged in policy work with UNDP, ILO, and CII. My thought leadership includes presenting papers and setting up networks for gender equality, mobilizing 20,000+ male advocates through the UN Women’s He For She Campaign.

  • Sadbhavana Trust (April 2011 - January 2012) : Led a study on Muslim inclusion in development interventions in West Bengal.
